Hi, I am Rob. I tell most people that I am four doctors: Dr Think Right; Dr Inhale Exhale; Dr Gastro Nomical and Dr Zizz.

Over 2 years ago I stepped out of my clinic, which had been my comfortable home for the past 10 years, to support Trish in establishing the 7NP’s program in schools and the wider community.

Since 1981, after graduating from the Southern School of Natural Therapies in Melbourne, I ran my own clinic, worked in sales and marketing and spent 12 years working as the senior naturopath with one of Australia’s largest health companies Bullivant’s Natural Health Products. During that time I developed training programs and nutritional healthcare education seminars which were presented both nationally and internationally.

Following an extended trip around Australia with our young family we settled in Townsville. Here, I established my own practice; lectured at the local Naturopathic College and worked as a consultant on product development projects for the CSIRO, Capilano Honey, Fauldings and Lipa Pharmaceuticals. From 1997-2005 I filled a regular spot talking about natural health on the Local ABC morning radio program. This helped to satisfy my enthusiasm for being actively involved in community healthcare promotion. As a practitioner I continued to work collaboratively with a number of General Practitioners in Townsville and Brisbane in order to achieve the best possible results for my patients.

The evolution of Comfortable in My Jeans and the 7 Natural Physicians has been a constant source of inspiration to me over the past five years. The shared passion with Trish for natural health, the arts and the desire to positively impact lives has moved me from the role of background support to fulltime involvement. The plan is to drive the program from the local to the national and global stage. In leaving my clinic I go from a vocation I love to a project I feel very passionate about. In the clinic I was able to help numerous individuals and their families; through the 7NPs we hope to engage whole communities.
